The Verwey-Jonker Institute is an independent national organization for social scientific research, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Their research provides usable and scientifically supported answers to socio-societal questions. Work is undertaken at the request of local, provincial, national and international clients. The substantial wide and varied research domain is subdivided into three research groups: 1) Citizenship, safety and social vitality, 2) Youth, child rearing and education, 3) Participation in society.
