The Electronics and Information Processing Dept. of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, VUB–ETRO, has the following major research and development topics: opto- and micro-electronics circuits, devices and technology on the one hand, and on the other hand the processing of information for the cases of speech signals and of digital images and video.
