The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust was established in 1998 with a particular focus on promoting equality of opportunity, good race relations, and the advancement of architecture and careers in the built environment as a profession for people particularly from Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds with the focus on the advancement of education, equality of opportunity and the benefiting of the local community.
